Spotlight On: Ere Perez

We recently visited the delightful, light-filled Ere Perez office which reflects this clean beauty brand so well.

Our team has investigated thousands upon thousands of makeup products so we (humbly) consider ourselves the connoisseurs of this category. Looking at some of our favorite Ere Perez products - let’s begin with the allstar:

Oat Milk Foundation:This popular product provides a lightweight feel on the skin with a smooth yet dewy finish. In our opinion, it provides medium yet buildable coverage. This foundation suits all skin types, including our sensitive skin friends. Apply it with a brush or your hands. The shade range caters mostly to neutral and cool undertones. With a proud list of ingredients, it’s clear why this easy everyday foundation is a must-have for makeup bags.

Lychee Creme Corrector This is a new product which I tried recently on set. A makeup artist friend popped this on me and boy did I give my 5-month old daughter a run for her money. Smooth as a babys' bottom. While I would love to see some more shades in this range, Ere Perez describes the colors as flexi-shades that melt into the skin. Full coverage, radiant, long wearing, and photographs beautifully. What’s not to love?

Arnica Concealer: Compared to our dewy friends above, the Arnica Concealer offers a natural finish which is helpful for those looking to cover any blemishes, particularly as the arnica it contains helps to calm inflamed areas of the skin. This can be worn all over as a full coverage foundation in which case I would recommend using your hands to melt this into the skin. Alternatively use a small brush to spot-conceal any areas of concern. The shade range caters mostly to cool and neutral undertones.  

Avocado Waterproof Mascara: This is such a popular product and is perfect for those with sensitive eyes - a rare treat with many waterproof mascaras. With its deep black color, this mascara lifts and separates the lashes well. We feel it provides a natural look which is perfect for everyday wear but a bolder look can be achieved with multiple layers. One of our favorite features is that this long-wearing mascara is totally smudge proof. 

Carrot Colour Pot: We love a multi-use cream color! Sweet pops of color for cheeks and lips, this is a great one to have in your bag. This super pigmented pot of joy comes in 6 shades, my favorite is the color Happy which looks great on so many skin tones. The creamy balm gives the skin a dewy flush, so oily skins beware if you’re not wanting to boost shine.
